LaserUser’s laser engraved slate products are manufactured from only the finest Welsh Slate mined from the Heart of Wales.

This 500-million-year-old material is supplied with a natural riven top surface, complemented by a high quality machine finished base and smooth chamfered edges. Please Note: many slate products on the market are supplied with sharp edges, which is both unsightly and potentially dangerous.

All of our Welsh Slate products are laser engraved at our Aberdare workshop.

We laser engraved the slate products to order and we can engrave any combination of letters, words, sentences, phrases or quotes of your choice. We would suggest a minimum text height of 5mm.

The slate coasters are approximately 5mm thick, baized with felt and sprayed with a protective coating to minimise the risk of staining.

Using a laser to remove the top surface, reveals the different coloured substrate. The flexibility of the laser engraving process means that different text, information and graphics can be easily added.
